PLC, SCADA and HMI Programming

We program PLCs, SCADA systems and HMI screens: your plant’s control layer, ready to connect to data. We develop new logic, modify existing programs and leave the signals prepared to be read from the data layer.

The control layer decides what every machine does at each moment. It has three parts working together: the PLC runs the logic, the SCADA supervises the installation and the HMI is the screen the operator uses. We program all three and deliver them ready to connect to data.

PLC programming is about maintainable logic: modular function blocks, consistent variable naming aligned with the electrical drawings, explicit state and alarm handling, and delivery documentation. These criteria apply both to new programs and to inherited ones, where part of the work is organising and documenting what already exists.

SCADA and HMI solve different needs: the SCADA supervises the whole installation with mimics, historians and alarm management, while the HMI lets the operator work at the machine, changing recipes, acknowledging alarms or switching modes. We design both around the people who will use them.

Programming the control layer is not the same as connecting it to data. Extracting variables and making them available to other systems is a separate service, our PLC connectivity work. Every programming project is delivered with production variables grouped, named and documented so the industrial connectivity layer can build on them, in line with approaches such as the OT/IT unified namespace. Our team is based in Xàtiva and works with industry across Xàtiva, La Costera, València and the Comunitat Valenciana, with on-site testing and commissioning when the project requires it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between programming a PLC and connecting it to data?
Programming a PLC means writing the logic that governs the machine: sequences, interlocks, alarms. Connecting it to data is a different task: exposing its variables so other systems can read them. We do both, as separate services. When we program the control layer, we deliver it already prepared for that connectivity, with variables organised and documented.
Do you work on existing PLC programs or only from scratch?
Both. Plants usually inherit programs written by several integrators over the years. We can modify and extend that existing logic, document and organise it, or develop the full program for a new machine or line. In both scenarios we apply the same structure and naming standards.
What does a SCADA and HMI project include?
The SCADA covers supervision of the installation: mimics, historians, alarm management and event logging. The HMI is the screen next to the machine where the operator works daily. In a project we define with the client what each profile needs to see and act on, design the screens and connect them to the PLC logic.
Do you offer PLC and SCADA programming in Valencia and nearby areas?
Yes. Our team is based in Xàtiva (Ronda Séquia de Meses, 18, 46800) and we work with industry across Xàtiva, La Costera, València and the wider Comunitat Valenciana. Being nearby makes plant testing and commissioning easier, although our service scope is not limited to these areas.
