Work with us
In short
Which profiles does Captia Technology look for, and where does it work from?
Captia Technology is an industrial engineering company based in Xàtiva, in the province of València, Spain, integrating operations, energy, data and business. It hires continuously across four areas: automation and plant engineering, software development, data and artificial intelligence, and energy. Speculative applications go to talent@captiatechnology.com and are reviewed even when no vacancy is posted.
What gets built here
Captia Technology is not five businesses bundled together. It is five capabilities aimed at one problem: fragmented industrial operations, where the systems exist but do not talk to each other. A project starts with a diagnosis, continues with an OT/IT connectivity layer, gets interpreted through analytics and models, integrates the energy layer and ends up running inside the customer management systems.
For someone who writes code or designs systems, that means a technical range that rarely sits inside one company: a PLC and its SCADA, an MQTT broker and an OPC UA server, a data pipeline, a model in production, a photovoltaic installation and an ERP wired into the plant. The work is tangible: there is a real machine at the other end of every integration.

Four profiles of continuous interest
These are the four areas in which Captia Technology wants to receive applications on an ongoing basis, with or without a posted vacancy.
Automation and plant engineering
PLC programming, SCADA and HMI development, sensor and robot connectivity, and OT/IT integration over real industrial protocols: Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA and MQTT. This is the profile that goes down to the plant floor: wiring, signals, testing and commissioning with the customer line running.
Software development
Web projects, cross-platform applications, bespoke internal tools and digital process integration, including Odoo implementation and customisation. The software written here ends up wired into the operation: a dashboard reading from the industrial data layer, not an isolated demo.
Data and artificial intelligence
Data engineering from edge ingestion to the unified industrial data layer, operational analytics, prediction and alerting models, and advanced applied AI models. The starting data comes from the plant: process series, energy consumption, downtime and machine events, not a clean laboratory dataset.
Energy
Industrial and residential solar installations, energy efficiency, energy certifications, technical design reports and electrical certificates. Captia Technology is registered as a low-voltage electrical installation company in Spain’s Registro Integrado Industrial and issues electrical installation certificates under its own registration, so technical paperwork stays in house.
Working arrangement: it depends on the role
We would rather say this before you ask. There is no single remote-work policy, because the four profiles do not do the same kind of work.
Plant engineering and commissioning require being on site at the customer facility. A control cabinet, a signal that does not arrive or a line that has to be started up are not solved over a video call: you need to stand in front of the machine. Those positions involve travel and field work.
Software development profiles have more flexibility, because the work depends less on being physically next to installed equipment. Even so, the exact arrangement is agreed position by position, and the home base is Xàtiva. We do not promise fully remote work.

- Is remote work possible?
- It depends on the role. Plant engineering and commissioning require being on site at the customer facility: you have to see the machine, measure the signal and test the line. Software development profiles have more flexibility. The exact arrangement is agreed per position, and we do not promise fully remote work.
